MonacoPHil 2024 Philatelic Exhibitions
The Club de Monte-Carlo are honoured to announce a programme of three exhibitions at MonacoPhil 2024, showcasing world-class philatelic material, representing an exciting and diverse selection from our wonderful hobby. As we move the show to a new venue, we have sought to maintain our traditional commitment to class and pedigree, while adapting our exhibitions into exciting new fields and formats.
100 World Philatelic Rarities
In addition to our usual 100 World Philatelic Rarities Exhibition, hosted at the Musée des Timbres, we are piloting a new rarity format at the brand-new One Monte-Carlo Exhibition Centre, with fantastic, custom-built A0 frames provided by our friends at Prestige Philately Club Prague. This new format offers exhibitors space for supporting material to tell the story behind their rarity, providing an eye-catching overview for newcomers and seasoned philatelists alike. We are honoured and privileged that this year's rarity from the Collection of His Majesty King Charles III will be included in the exclusive run of 12 frames.
As ever, we are greatly thankful to the Members of the Club de Monte-Carlo and associated museums for their contributions to this year's selection of 100 Philatelic Rarities, which forms a phenomenal showcase of world philately, and has constituted, since the exhibition's inception, the jewel in the crown of MonacoPhil. Stamps and Postal History of the Far East
This year's thematic exhibition has covered one of the most exciting areas of world philately: the Stamps and Postal History of the Far East, excluding the Indian Subcontinent and Mainland China. Overseen by our Commissaire d'Exposition, former President of the Royal Philatelic Society Peter Cockburn FRPSL, the exhibition contains a spectacular selection of material from this vibrant area, ranging across the geographical and thematic varieties of the region.
In line with His Serene Highness Prince Albert II's ambition to draw closer links between the numismatic and philatelic collections of the Principality, this exhibition also hosts a small selection of banknotes of the Far East, introducing the attendees MonacoPhil to an area of numismatics in which they will find much common ground with their philatelic pursuits.

This year's exhibition book, authored by Jeremy Dickson FRPSL, is an in-depth study into the Queen's Head Issues of Labuan, which will serve as the standard scholarly reference in the field for years to come. In keeping with the theme of the publication, we are once more honoured and extremely grateful to include a frame of Labuan from the Royal Collection of His Majesty King Charles III, which leads the exhibition.

Frames of the Members of the Club de Monte-Carlo
Alongside the main exhibitions at MonacoPhil 2024, we are delighted to be displaying contributions from members of the Club de Monte-Carlo, who are exhibiting some of their favourite pieces outside of the scope of the Rarities and Far East exhibitions. Our sincere thanks go to these members for contributing to the philatelic material on show at MonacoPhil, as well as providing greatly-welcomed financial support to the Club. Special thanks goes to Dr Paolo Bianchi, Maurice Hadida and Giacomo Bottacchi for their hard work in gathering exhibitors and organising this miniature exhibition of Club members.
